As it turns out, I rather enjoy this thing called songwriting. Over the last couple of months, I’ve written a couple more songs, one specifically for my dad for Father’s Day, aptly titled ‘Daddy’s Song’ and another titled ‘The Great Physician’. Both songs, plus an untitled song that is still being recorded, had their debut last Tuesday at a fundraiser for Ron Devitt’s film, ‘Who is Riley Oaks’ at Ceili’s Irish Pub in downtown Vancouver. ‘The Parable’ will see the light of day at Calvary Baptist Church in Gibsons, BC on Sunday, June 29th for Mission’s Day.
